Product Repairs
API's Customer Service Team is anxious to help with issues that arise. This includes warranty and non-warranty repairs. Most service is performed at our Columbia, MD headquarters. API can also arrange for specialized repair and warranty agreements, including:

  • Repair services performed in Europe and Australia
  • Repair service performed in secure facilities by cleared personnel
  • On-site repairs
  • Extended warranties
  • Staging of spare equipment and parts
  • Configuration control, tracking and management
  • Training and support for customer-based repairs

  • Model numbers and part numbers of equipment involved
  • Best time and method for us to reach you

Training
API provides formal training courses for the maintenance and repair of our products. Customers attending an API training class will learn the proper disassembly and reassembly techniques for a particular product or group of products, reporting requirements, and the techniques needed to ensure that the TEMPEST integrity is not compromised. Each attendee will receive a certificate of completion, an identification code, and, for those that can make use of it, access to a website where repair orders can be logged and tracked. Training sessions are available at API offices or customer sites.

The TEMPEST compliance of all equipment manufactured by Advanced Programs, Inc. is guaranteed for the life of the product provided any repairs are performed by API staff or technicians that have attended appropriate API training. The training sessions are designed for those who are already familiar with basic computer troubleshooting techniques. However, courses that cover computer troubleshooting can be arranged on a case-by-case basis. Further course customization is available, including:

  • Customized training modules for unique solutions
  • Train-the-trainer courses
  • Remote/web-based training

Note: International customers may be required have a technical assistance agreement (TAA) approved before training sessions.
