Assembly and Manufacturing
API offers complete ISO9001 certified production services. From prototypes to full production runs, API provides pre-production support, configuration management, and full life-cycle support for both in-house and customer provided designs. API is currently providing production and life-cycle support to many programs that are up to 10 years in service. This allows our customers to focus their valuable resources on critical new programs. API has a long history of delivering quality system products that include effective configuration management, ease of maintenance features and life cycle support.

Care is taken to formalize scalable assembly processes for high quality and repeatability over the life of program. This allows API to quickly react to changes in the mission of our customers such as surge requirements and new feature sets.

Production is performed in-house at Columbia, MD facility with 15,000+ square feet of manufacturing space.

Life-cycle Support
For over 30 years API has excelled at programs responsible with field-site deployments for military and intelligence community missions. This support includes configuration management, documentation, training, installation, depot repair, maintenance, support and issue tracking. API carefully selects components that will provide an extended program life.

Testing
The API test team strives for "get it right the first time" program performance. A comprehensive testing strategy conducts incoming component inspections, work-in-progress inspection, and thorough verification and validation for prototypes as well as statistically appropriate level of production sampling. Types of testing include functional, stress, thermal, TEMPEST, and EMI.
